HallStar® GDS is the biodegradable esterification product of vegetable-derived triple-pressed grade stearic acid and glycerin. It finds use as a bodying agent in oil-in-water emulsions and as a pearlizing agent in personal cleansing products. The typically employed use level is 1 – 4%.
