1Prepare phase A and warm it to 75-80°C;
2Add Olivem® 1000 and Oliwax® LC flakes (phase B) into phase A, under magnetic stirring;
3Stir for 5 minutes and then homogenize for 1 minute using a suitable dispersion unit (e.g., Silverson, Ultra-Turrax®);
4Prepare phase C and warm it to 70-75°C;
5Add phase C to phase AB at 75°C and homogenize for a few minutes using a suitable dispersion unit (e.g., Silverson, Ultra-Turrax®);
6Put the warm emulsion in the oven at 80°C for 20 minutes;
7Homogenize the emulsion for a few minutes using a suitable dispersion unit (e.g., Silverson, Ultra-Turrax®);
8Cool batch to room temperature under slow agitation;
9Add phase D to batch, mix, then add phase E to batch and mix.
10Prepare phase F solution, add to batch in amount necessary to adjust batch pH to between 5.5 - 6.5, and homogenize.
