Oh Wow! 30 Lotion Spray – Broad Spectrum O/W SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen

Now in spray form, using versatile emulsifier Olivem® LV Flex!

This oil-in-water sunscreen lotion spray provides broad spectrum sun protection without using organic UV filters. SolaStay® S1 (Ethylhexyl Methoxycrylene) in HallBrite® EZ-FLO TDX Plus mitigates the photocatalytic and reactive oxygen species-generating activities of the oxides. Olivem® LV Flex provides a light sensorial impact to the formula. In vitro analysis suggests SPF ~35, PFA (PPD) ~11 performance with critical wavelength 377 nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE

1To the main vessel add the water of phase A, start mixing and add remaining phase items in order. After uniform, heat to 70°C.
2To a secondary vessel add phase C, start mixing and heat to 70°C.
3When both phase A and phase C are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, start homogenizing phase A and slowly add phase B.
4After phase B is well dispersed in phase A, add phase C to phase AB under homogenization.
5After 5 minutes, change back to center mixing and start cooling phase ABC.
6When phase ABC is below 50°C add phase D with mixing, replace any water lost and mix until smooth.
